Meron akong isang “aliw” moment during one night of concert ng isang super famous Worship Team. Nakasaksi ako ng isang kabataang lalaki na hyper at nuknukan sa excitement sa pagpupuri kay Lord, all ready to sing praises to Him because, as the atmosphere has given its obvious reason, the time has come (when you read between my lines, giveaway ko na kung anong Worship Team ang tinutukoy ko hehehe) and true enough, buong Araneta Coliseum, dumagundong sa lakas ng tirada ng mga kantang “Salvation is Here”, “Inside Out”, and “All I Need Is You” (o, kilala mo na sila?). Indeed it was one awesome night of praise & worship. At sa lakas ng impact ng animo roller-coaster na sigawan ng pagpupuri, isa lang ang naisigaw ko: “HANEP!”
Balik tayo dun sa tinutukoy kong lalaki…kakaiba ang gilalas ng youth na yun. Kasabay ng mga umiikot na ilaw at lakas ng sounds, sa gitna ng sobrang ingay ng kasiyahan, nakuha ko pang matawa at matuwa sa youth na yun…dahil sa sobrang saya niya, HE DID NOT CONTAIN IT! sumigaw na lang ang bagets ng “HINDI KO NA KAYAAAAA ‘TO!!!!”
The rest of the concert story was, dahil GOD-CENTERED, a real blast of a party. Masaya ang uwian kahit mahirap magcommute, kasi hindi natawaran yung KILOS NG DIOS, through those God-filled songs.
Antindi. Grabe. Sa sobrang excitement kay LORD, hindi kinaya nung youth. Napaisip ako in one nanosecond and i realized: Wow, THAT’S GOD’S GLORY. Hindi pwedeng itago sa wallet, hindi pwedeng itago sa inbox, hindi pwedeng ikahon…HINDI PWEDENG PIGILAN! IMPOSIBLENG PIGILAN!
2008 yung concert na yun…AT MAY KAGILA-GILALAS NA NAMANG GAGAWIN ANG DIOS BAGO MATAPOS ANG 2011..DECEMBER 21 AT THE CUNETA ASTRODOME to be exact…

Sa sobrang wagi, mapapanalo mo ang bansa!

(NGA LANG MEDYO ALALAY DITO SA HULI KONG TIP KASI BAKA SUMOBRA, MAHIRAP MAPAGKAMALANG SISA NA NAGKATAWANG LUPA MULI! HEHEHE)
On DEC 21, BE EXCITED YOUTH!!!! LIFT UP YOUR HEADS FOR THE KING OF GLORY WILL COME IN! (sinusulat ko pa lang, i feel like shouting out! tindi ng Dios natin!)
On DEC 21, ISIGAW NA YAN!!!!! MAS MALAKAS NA ALELUYA! EVERYBODY SAY “WOOOWH!!!!”

Are we transformed enough?

The buzz word today in the Christian Community is “transformation.” Community transformation. Social transformation. National transformation. But the big question for every Christian is: “Am I transformed enough?” This is a pivotal question. Because if we are not experiencing the Spirit’s transforming power of Christ in us, then all this talk and call for transformation are but hot air. We need a new breed, a new generation of transformational leaders. Genuine and lasting transformation begins with us. The transformation we want to see must be seen in us first and foremost. Then, and only then, can we be a bona fide nation transformers. Are we transformed enough?

We will not just dance and sing on December 21, its more than that. The Lord is looking for TRUE WORSHIPERS who will worship Him in SPIRIT and in TRUTH. Nation transformers are worshipers of the Living God. True worship will transform your life thus affecting others and the nation! If you are not transformed that means you’ve never worshiped. Worship is transformation.
